The English Speaking Board is a national awarding organisation offering qualifications focused on communication skills, at school, in college and throughout life. We concentrate on Speaking and Listening assessment, using visiting external examiners trained to ESB methods and standards, in all kinds of learning environments, for all age groups and abilities.
ESB qualifications help you measure the progress you are making, whether teaching or learning, native English speaking or English for Speakers of Other Languages. We also offer training for tutors or individuals through our Training Enterprises, for professional or personal development. Whether ESOL or Schools, Adult Learners or Special Needs, ESB has the qualifications for you.
As a charitable and international organisation, ESB assesses extensively in Great Britain and throughout the world. ESB is recognised by Ofqual and most of its qualifications in the UK are eligible for funding under the Skills Funding Agency (SFA).
