Overview - Senior Grades

Senior Grade Assessments are all accredited and listed on the QCF (previously NQF), with progressive tasks for year groups 7-11. Senior Assessments include four sections, matched to needs of EACH year group 7-11:

  • Structured Presentation
  • Poetry or Drama own choice;
  • Reading to Others;
  • Listening and Responding within a group

Oral Skills for School Interviews: Suitable for any child likely to face an interview on moving to senior school, this syllabus covers preparation for an interview as well as practice in being interviewed, and includes a 1-to-1 interview with the ESB examiner. (Higher level Interview Skills qualifications are also available for those leaving school).
